For people who create change
- in world, organisations or communities
If you're a consultant or team coach, or someone trying to change the culture in an organisation or supporting the development or a team, an activist, a social innovator or researcher wanting to make an impact, this programme is for you. It provides a space to explore new ways of seeing and shaping the systems you influence.
Why this lab, why now
In times of complexity, even experienced change agents can feel stuck - running the same loops of analysis, facilitation, or reflection, and sensing that something deeper is at play.
The Impact Lab is not about adding another model or theory to your toolkit.
It’s a transformative, experiential process that helps you step outside your usual patterns and view your challenges - and your practice - through three essential lenses:
System

the wider environment and hidden dynamics shaping behaviour.
Social

the connections, tensions, and flows between people.
Self

your role, emotions, and beliefs — the instrument for your impact.
Through guided exploration and the use of Rethinkly, our unique visualisation platform, you’ll make the invisible visible - externalising your thinking, beliefs, and emotions into a scenes you can explore and share. The small group and buddy pairs then allow these perspectives to emerge, and get translated into action.
This is about expanding self-awareness, deepening empathy, and sharpening your capacity to influence positive change.
What makes this different
Most development programmes teach you a new framework.
This one helps you see yourself and your system differently.
You’ll bring a real case or challenge from your own work - something live, something that matters, something that you want to influence more. Then, over the course of two weeks, you’ll experiment, reflect, and learn within a small cohort of curious, open-minded peers who are also working at the edges of human change.
What unfolds is part personal insight, part collective intelligence - the kind of learning that can’t be taught, only experienced.

How it works
7 online sessions
13 hours total
2 weeks of immersive learning
You’ll be guided by two experienced facilitators who create a safe, reflective environment for exploration. Each session builds on the last, allowing time between sessions for sense-making and integration - a direct learning from our pilot cohort.
Using the Rethinkly platform, you’ll visually map your experience, relationships, and systems - not to analyse them, but to discover new insights, patterns, and possibilities.
This process helps you:
-
Step back and gain emotional distance.
-
See through multiple perspectives at once.
-
Surface the hidden beliefs and assumptions shaping your impact.
-
Explore how others see you.
-
Develop empathy and compassion - for yourself and others.
-
Connect dots across system, relationship, and self.
The science behind the magic
Rethinkly’s method is grounded in neuroscience, psychology, and experiential learning.
When we visualise our inner world - turning thoughts and emotions into symbols and stories - we use our 'social brains' for what they evolved to do: imagination, insights, empathy, and creativity.
This process strengthens key capacities such as cognitive flexibility, emotional regulation, and systemic awareness, all of which are vital for effective change work.
