See, Feel, and Think Differenty
Our Story & Core Concept
Rethinkly was born from a simple but powerful vision: what if we could make the invisible visible?
Founded by David Tinker and Andrew Jackson, Rethinkly combines decades of expertise in coaching, consulting, and psychology with immersive 3D technology. The platform uses visual storytelling, avatars, and symbolic landscapes to help people map the challenges they face, explore new perspectives, and discover insights that words alone can’t reach.
With Rethinkly, you create a “scene” that mirrors real life: characters, relationships, dynamics, and symbols. A steep mountain can represent an ambition; a bomb can symbolise pressure; avatars can carry emotions or authority. Suddenly, a complex situation becomes something you can see, move, and share.
This shift transforms conversations. It makes hidden assumptions visible. It gives permission to talk about the difficult. It accelerates empathy, clarity, and alignment — whether you’re working one-to-one, with teams, or across organisations.
The Science Behind Rethinkly
Rethinkly is more than a tool — it’s grounded in neuroscience and the science of learning.
The brain is a social organ. We learn best through shared experiences, stories, and empathy.
Learning sticks when it connects thoughts and feelings Rethinkly bridges the rational and the emotional, making insights both memorable and actionable.
Neuroplasticity means change is possible. By re-imagining situations safely in Rethinkly, users literally rewire how they respond in the real world.
Metaphors matter. Humans have always learned through stories and symbolism. By “playing out” scenarios visually, Rethinkly taps into our innate capacity for narrative learning and makes it easier to shift behaviour.
Engaging with Limiting Beliefs. Rethinkly helps us identify and reframe the self-narratives that may be holding us back.
Transforming Narratives. Shifting “the story we tell ourselves” to open up new possibilities.
This isn’t gamification for the sake of fun. It’s the deliberate use of 'imaginal intelligence' — the human ability to imagine, simulate, and transform experiences — to make development faster, deeper, and more sustainable.
Research & Evidence
Independent research shows that Rethinkly helps people feel and think better about themselves and their world. In studies, participants reported:
Increased clarity in understanding complex challenges.
Better emotional regulation, including reduced stress and reactivity.
Greater empathy and insight into the perspectives of others.
Improved conversations with colleagues and clients, including conflict resolution.
